Seeking Scareactors for various non-speaking roles in a live, theatrical show and immersive experience. Candidates must be able to follow designated character storylines, take direction well, and perform basic themed movement vocabulary.
DANCERS
Dancers
Seeking technically trained and experienced dancers in all genres, with a strong background in jazz, jazz funk, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and heels, for a live, choreographed, theatrical show and immersive experience. Candidates must be able to quickly learn choreography, apply directed improvisation skills, and partner as needed in various performances. Also seeking special skills/dance styles including bone breaking/flexing, krumping, and breakdancing.

Before the Audition
SPECIALTY ODDITY ARTISTS & ACTS
Seeking established specialty and oddity acts for contracted performance opportunities at Universal Horror Unleashed-Las Vegas. Open to a variety of skills, apparatus acts, and artists. Preferred themes are dark, horror, creepy, unusual, or intense in spirit.

Video submission guidelines:
- Introduction: State your first and last name, and the name of your act and/or organization.
- Monologue: Perform your special skill and/or an oddity act, no more than 1 minute in length for each skill and/or oddity act. Ensure it showcases your talent and abilities. Preferred themes are dark, horror, creepy, unusual, or intense in spirit.
- Video: Use a solid color wall or backdrop for the audition slate. Record with your full body in the frame. Wear a t-shirt and shorts or dancewear.
- Lighting and Sound: Ensure your video is well-lit and the sound is clear. Avoid background noise.
- Format: Submit your video in MP4 or MOV format.
- Length: Keep each video to 1 minute.
Once materials are reviewed, the Talent Booking Department will contact you should a performance opportunity become available.
How can I find out about future auditions?
The best way to receive casting and audition updates is to create a Universal Horror Unleashed Audition Profile by visiting our career portal. Be the first to receive audition alerts, upload your most updated resume/headshot, and highlight talents for casting consideration in upcoming performance opportunities!
What is the age requirement to audition?
You must be 18 years or older by the date of the audition to be eligible.
Does Universal Horror Unleashed hold any auditions outside of Las Vegas, NV?
At this time Universal Horror Unleashed only holds auditions in Las Vegas, NV and all candidates must be able to audition in person, during a scheduled audition time, to be eligible.
Am I eligible to audition if I do not have work authorization in the United States?
In order to be eligible to audition and be employed at Universal Horror Unleashed you must have documentation establishing your eligibility to be legally employed in the United States.
Does Universal Horror Unleashed sponsor visas?
Universal Horror Unleashed does not sponsor visas for performer roles. You must have appropriate documentation establishing your eligibility to be legally employed in the United States at the time of audition.
If I am not able to make the scheduled call back date and time, do you accept video or virtual auditions?
While we accept video submissions for some roles, if a call back is required, all candidates must be able to attend any required call backs in Las Vegas, NV, during an available appointment time. We are not able to accept video or virtual auditions for call backs.
What should I wear to the audition?
Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that you can move in. For dancer, actor and specialty act auditions, please also come in clothing that allows for visibility of movement and lines. We prefer that you do not come dressed in costume, heavy makeup or wig. If you are attending a dance audition, please bring dance shoes.
Is a headshot and resume required in order to audition?
Although we prefer a current headshot and resume for each audition, you will still be able to audition without one.
Do I need an agent to audition?
Universal Horror Unleashed does not cast through outside agencies for its performer positions. All casting is completed through our audition process.
If I am auditioning for a dancer role, do I need to have choreography prepared?
You do not need to have any choreography prepared for our dancer auditions. We will teach you the routine.
How long does it take to find out if I have been cast?
The length of time it takes to make casting decisions varies. For most roles, it can take up to 4 weeks for casting decisions, but at times, extenuating circumstances exist that can extend the casting process.
Do you cast for film, television or the theme parks?
The Universal Horror Unleashed casting team only casts for performance roles for Universal Horror Unleashed. We do not cast for film, television or the Universal Destinations & Experiences theme parks.

At the Audition
What do I do with my personal belongings at the audition?
At the audition please always keep your belongings with you. When you enter the audition room please place your belongings in the back of the room. Also, please remember to silence all cell phones when entering the audition room.
Who will be on the audition panel?
The audition panel will consist of members of Entertainment management. A choreographer may be present for dance auditions.
How much time should I allot for my audition?
Every audition is different but generally we try to follow the following timelines. Dancer auditions traditionally last between 2-3 hours since you will have to learn choreography and then perform it. For all other auditions, best attempts are made to keep the process to 1-1.5 hours. The length of callbacks vary, but should not be longer than 3-4 hours.
After the Audition
If I audition and get cut, can I audition again?
You are eligible to audition once per role in a 90-day window. After 90 days, you would be eligible to re-audition for that same role, pending availability of the position/casting needs.
