Manager, Audio/Video Entertainment Technical

• Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Production or minimum 5 years in a related field, with emphasis in audio/video system design and/or implementation.
• Extensive theme park experience in technical audio/video production for live theatrical entertainment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills, including in a personnel management capacity.
• Expert classification in advanced audio systems such as Q-SYS, SMAART and Dante networking.
• Superior knowledge in AV equipment such as Yamaha consoles, amplifier distribution and high-level speaker array systems.
• Expert ability to troubleshoot AV system issues in high stress environments.
• Proactive management skills to guide, delegate and provide on-site knowledge and support to specialized technicians.
• Ability to navigate and function productively interdepartmentally on high level projects.
• Solid understanding of production of live entertainment in a theme park environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, with confidence to multi-task and delegate as required.
• Ability to achieve results through the flawless execution of strategies and process.
• Ability to identify and communicate creative solutions to challenges, and to maintain a consistent focus on priorities with persistent follow-through.
• Confidence to effectively communicate across all lines of business, and with all levels of management.
• Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change, working in fast-paced environments with accelerated production schedules.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
• A strong passion to drive high quality results, both end product as well as process.
• Proficient in AutoCad

General Knowledge and Skills Required: Manager, Audio/Video Creative Development shall have the ability to read, interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Will also be able to effectively communicate, present information, and answer questions in one-on-one and group settings. Have strong interpersonal, analytical and time management skills and demonstrates the ability to work independently under pressure; proactive thinker/self-starter.
