Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY: The Media Buyer role leads the negotiation, buying and campaign management of Display, Online Video, and Native paid media channels in domestic markets for theme parks and internal clients/business units (Resorts, Sales/B2B, events, new attractions, etc.) in collaboration with the Media Manager and Director. The Media Buyer owns vendor communication and negotiates best placements and rates through Direct Buys, as well as Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and other ad buying tools. The media buyer will be ultimately responsible for the perfect management and execution of media budgets at a minimum of $7MM per year as well as exceeding established campaign KPIs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
SCOPE: Responsible for leading the buying of media, Universal Parks and Resort’s North America media campaigns.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field from a four (4) year college or University.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2+ years of media buying experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. We are looking for particular experience in programmatic buying, online video, paid search, paid social Experience managing $500,000+/year ad spend is a plus. Knowledge of general computer programs and media buying software programs such as Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, DV360, Yahoo DSP strongly desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
