Baristas are responsible for taking and filling orders of food and beverage requested by guests, operating cash register, maintaining service area and supplies and interacting positively with guest providing the Hollywood experience.
Responsibilities:
- Verify cash balance at the beginning and end of shift. Operate cash register; accepts cash and credit cards; Advise lead cashier on need for cash mid-days and complete change requests, per established procedures.
- Set up the venue, stock, clean, organize and maintain a clean sanitized food service area.
- Process guests’ food and beverage orders and up sell products. Follow all food proper portioning procedures to maintain cost.
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
- Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years older
- Prior Barista experience preferred
The pay rate for this role is $17.50

[Jeff] Ever since I was a little kid, I always wanted to take part in designing spaces that creates some of the fondest memories for people. I've got to walk through Hulk and Kong Skull Island and Forbidden Journey, and those were really incredible experiences. [Griffin] I think the cool thing about the Universal Creative internship is, you have a lot of opportunities to work with others and do what you want to do. “I knew from a young age that I wanted a career designing the theme parks that brought me so much happiness throughout my childhood.
